The Hotel is the best kept secret on the island of São Miguel, in the Azores, is an oasis that unites tradition with nature.  

In the municipality of Ponta Delgada, is a project that completes its third year of existence that reconciles an 18th century farmhouse with the surrounding environment, opening it to the world so we can dive into the fauna and flora of the island, in an atmosphere comfortable and tasteful.  

With more than 3 hectares of farm, and with 200 years of story, is the perfect setting for a stay in full communion with nature, and with the island itself. 

Consisting of 35 rooms including suites (junior and family), doubles, deluxe and 2 garden lodges, located in the centre of the Quinta, recreating the old cafuoes where cereals were stored.  

The building’s rooms main house all have a photo of the island of São Miguel, by different authors,  

which covers the entire wall at the head of the bed, assuming protagonism in space, combined with a simple decoration and a set of dim lights – and which accompanies the recording of the scenario micaelense.  

As for the new cafuoes, with 33m2 interiors, including the bedroom, bathroom and living area, and also a terrace with an outdoor bathtub surrounded by banana trees. 

The rooms are equipped with a desk and a flat-screen TV. Every room is equipped with a safety deposit box, while selected rooms are fitted with a balcony and others also offer pool views. At Senhora da Rosa, Tradition & Nature Hotel each room includes bed linen and towels. 

The hotel offers a SPA, 2 swimming pools (one inside a pineapple greenhouse), 2 restaurants, a 18^th century chapel, and several leisure spaces inside the Quinta.

Also, in the region of Furnas district take pleasure in an old-fashioned exclusive, yummy but healthy recipe, prepared beneath the ground utilizing water vapor originating from Furnas volcano geysers.
